The role

Commercial Finance is built on two pillars:

1. Be brilliant at the basics; robust reporting underpinned by ‘one source of truth’ principle and great process
2. No surprises; ongoing forecasting of performance underpinned by proactive analysis and insights

The primary focus of the role is to deeply understand our existing base of contracted merchants and how this drives the performance of the P&L.

What excites you:

• Ensuring accuracy of data and reports and escalating issues effectively
• Understanding and interrogating large sets of data
• Analysis of the existing contracted base of merchants to understand and forecast utilisation of their contract and where we have risks and opportunities
• Finding pricing opportunities in the base and being part of the approval process for pricing discounts on renewal or upsells

What excites us:

• You have applicable knowledge from analyst roles or can demonstrate good fit from relevant experiences
• You are a clear and confident communicator with your finance peers
• You are inquisitive, proactive & passionate about interrogating data to understand the ‘why’
• You can comfortably work in Excel/Google Sheets and are keen to advance skills in this area
• (It’s preferred) You want to study for professional qualifications

Base salary range:

€19,200 - €28,800 (including 13th and 14th salary)

Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at Go Cardless doing similar work.
