This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is required to report to Southeast Michigan (Warren, Milford, or Pontiac) three times per week, at minimum. Depending on rotational opportunities, an employee may be required to work on-site full-time.

Each successful candidate will be offered a hybrid role at a specific location. Candidate location preferences are considered but cannot be guaranteed.

The Role:

Within the Product Development Engineering Student Programs, we aim to create an environment where college students can build foundational skills, gain exposure, and gain understanding of our business. We do this by providing engaging co-op assignments, networking, and developmental opportunities.

Upon completion of the program, successful participants are matched to opportunities based on interest and business needs. Positions will be in Southeast Michigan with opportunities in Warren, Milford, or Pontiac, MI.

Required Qualifications:

Enrolled in the Kettering University co-op program:

2026 High School Graduate or current Kettering University Freshman-Sophomore

Pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following areas:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechatronics/Mechatronics Engineering
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Materials Engineering/Materials Science Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Aerodynamics Engineering
  • Aeronautical Engineering
  • Controls Engineering
  • Controls Systems Engineering
  • Systems Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electronics Engineering

Flexibility to be placed in either: Warren, Pontiac, or Milford, Michigan

Demonstrates leadership in field of study, extra-curricular activities, or service organizations.
