GE Aerospace has an advanced engineering center located in İstanbul, Kartal, complemented by cutting-edge laboratories in Gebze, Kocaeli. Role Overview:
We are seeking an Engineer – Mechanical Analysis to join our team in a hybrid capacity. This role will be responsible for performing mechanical analysis for new technology development programs and working across multiple teams. This position is critical to achieving program KPIs and advancing GE Aerospace’s technology leadership.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and detail-oriented engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical analysis and strength of materials, as well as a passion for continuous learning and sharing knowledge. They excel in collaborative environments, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, and are adept at leading projects and communicating effectively across teams and stakeholders to drive technical excellence and achieve program goal.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Aerospace Engineering,
-
Passion to learn or lead Finite Element Analysis (FEA) projects for stress/mechanical analysis assessments and interest to build or continue to develop a career to become an expert in this area,
-
Solid background in Mechanics of Materials,
-
Have strong engineering fundamentals in solid mechanics, theory of elasticity and numerical methods
-
At least 2-3 years of experience hands-on finite element analysis using ANSYS or other commercial FEA software (ABAQUS, Optistruct, Nastran, Patran etc.)

Familiarity with CAD (Unigraphics or other commercial CAD software)

Excellent command of written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications:

Conduct stress and life analyses with the guidance of experienced engineers in scope of engine certifications and qualifications, design optimization to meet life goals, failure investigations and test capability assessment of engine hardware,

Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis project, prepare and present technical data, to internal and external GE Aerospace customers,

Document technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent engineering policies and procedures.
