Core Responsibilities: Buyer & Material Management

Role Description – The Blade Remanufacturing Site Material Leader will have day to day responsibility to plan, purchase, supply and maintain inventory of the required GE material in support of the GEV blade remanufacturing (WDI) and blade repairs occurring at the Takkion laydown yards in Pawnee and Garden City, KS.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Order, track, receive and maintain inventory of remanufacturing parts to support the on-time blade repairs and remanufacturing.

• Confirm material procurement ownership of repair material between GE and contracted repair team

• Work closely with GE site leader to achieve remanufacturing factory production plans

• Assist GE site leader in repair team’s adherence to Safety / GE Life Saving Rules.

• Create and publish weekly part LOB’s

• Daily interface with repair teams to confirm availability of needed GE parts

Qualifications / Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing, project management, engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in sourcing, manufacturing, project management and/or supply chain

• Good understanding of the Renewables Onshore business

• Strong data management skills (Excel, etc.…)

Pay Transparency:

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is $30.00 USD per hour.
