Responsible for optimizing the performance, lifespan, and safety of facility assets and equipment. Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and safety hazards before they occur, developing strategies to mitigate risks, reduce downtime, and ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations.

- Key person to analyze leading indicators & execute actions to improve machine reliability CBM, and understand with MTBF, MTTR Maintenance (Critical Machine such as: Vacuum Furnace, Coating Cell, Shot Peen, Cold Spray, Compressor, Chemical Stripping and Blasting)
- Accelerate systemic improvement equipment lifespan, with experiences maintenance activity (key focus on strengthening 7 pillars of TPM) for all machines devised by maintenance manager
- Partner with EHS to assess all machine safety risk and drive initiatives to reduce the highest RPN. Collaborate with EHS to ensure safety of all activities related to machines & improvements through good expertise on LSR concepts such as LOTO, Contractor Management, WAH, etc.)
- Lead sustainability initiatives to develop & maintain sustainability roadmap in partnership with EHS Act as a deputy for Maintenance Manager & EHS Manager in case of absence/leave/training.
- Creates or initiate sustainability roadmaps that align with business goal (Project / Improvement)
- Leads the initiatives preparation improvement/kaizen event conducted monthly, quarterly, or to annually (such as carbon reduction, eliminate lifting crane, water conservation, recycling, utility resources optimization)
- Track and report sustainability metrics (KPIs)
- Performed to define and develop heatmap, risk assessment conduct regular "Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP)" for machines safety with applicable standards
- Understand analytic and ensuring safety systems (guarding, interlocks, emergency stops, safety PLCs) are properly designed and maintained.
- Responsible for safe machine design (upcoming machine, new machines or existing modifications)
- Lead incidents investigations and act related to equipment safety (RCA, FMEA,5W+1H), others to prevent recurrence.
- Safety Culture: Collaborate with the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) team to train staff on safe operating procedures and promote a zero-harm culture
Key Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Engineering Background is almost always required.
- Years of experience: At least 4 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or process safety engineering an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environment.
- Experience Maintenance, Reliability, Process Engineering, and/or HSE Field Specialist and advisor (Health, Safety, and Environment). Note: Pure desk-based engineers often struggle with this role; they need floor/plant experience
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of machinery, mechanical/electrical systems, automation, and proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. Proficiency in reliability software
- Have a certification (Bonus/Preferred), A recognized occupational safety certificate. (government certificate/inhouse training /AK3 Umum certification or others depending on the industry)
- Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic abilities to troubleshoot 5S,Fishbone, 7Ways, others and resolve issues timely.
- Soft Skills: Excellent teamwork, communication, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Willing to stay in Bandung City
