Advanced technology Organization is focused on innovation and expert services for GE product suites. The team is expected to enhance current offerings or bring new commercially viable features or solution to solve industry/customer problems using GridOS tech stack. The team will also utilize AI/ML techniques to broaden the product features/offerings. ATO in India will play crucial role for innovation and will be developed as Grid AI/ML CoE.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Depth in any Object-Oriented programming language like C++ or Java
• Experience in software development in an agile environment and writing code
• Demonstrates advanced understanding of software development tools & infrastructure
• Specialized depth in at least one of the power system products such as EMS, DMS, MMS and DERMS
• Use power system knowledge and customer connect to identify the GRID problems and recommend best practices /solutions.
• Represent GE as Subject Matter Expert with Universities and industry conferences
• Identify opportunities to apply AIML tools for solving the complex GRID problems
• Specialized depth on Power System Algorithms like State Estimator, Power Flows, Generation Applications and Optimal Power Flows
• Expert knowledge in power network modelling (ex: CIM standards)
• Required Qualifications

. Master's degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems).

. 10+ years of experience in Energy Management Systems and/or Advanced Distribution Management Systems and/or related areas (specifically application software development/deployment with deep understanding of applications at algorithmic level) •

• Experience in working with customers and internal stakeholders (Product Management, Commercial, Engineering and Services Teams)

• Experience with Grid Operations (AEMS/ADMS) understanding including use cases and pain points.

. Strong programming development expertise in various Power System applications
