Regional H/W TPM
As hardware TPM engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing product development and factory readiness for our electronics products for CE1 physical apps. You will be managing build readiness, project schedules, identifying critical paths and associated risks by collaborating with design, engineering, contract manufactures and other stakeholders to enable on time and high quality delivery of NPI, production ramp, and sustaining phases for CE1 automotive electronics control units and accessories.
As part of Ford’s global advanced electric vehicle team, you will be working with top talents in both Automotive and Technology community, innovating on the most inspiring ideas, products and user experiences, laying out path for the next generation EV that serves millions.
Basic:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or high-volume electromechanical product manufacturing.
- 3+ years of direct experience in automotive electromechanical program management role within an engineering or operations function.
- Demonstrated experience managing electronics and mechanical product development or manufacturing programs with global contract manufacturers (CMs) or suppliers, particularly in Asia.
- Good knowledge on E/E and mechanical engineering to drive in-depth technical discussions with contract manufactures and design owners on manufacturing test solutions and plans.
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing technology and processes including factory Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Top Level Assembly (TLA), fixtures, assembly, testing, and logistics.
- Strong experience with automotive electronics development and manufacturing processes, product development lifecycles, and material planning.

Ability to maintain productivity during global travel.

Oversee manufacturing readiness for Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and mechanical actuators during New Product Introduction (NPI), production ramp, and sustaining phases to meet vehicle build schedules.

Manage the readiness of build materials, project schedules, critical paths, and associated risks.

Coordinate daily activities with component vendors and factories to ensure alignment with project goals and collaborate closely with Ford TPM on system integration requirements.

Manage build material readiness and oversee the achievement of build objectives and metrics.

Drive quality improvement initiatives by root cause analyzing and corrective actions execution backed by solid data.

Facilitate effective communication across the organization, providing clear overviews, highlighting key issues, risks, and solutions.

Travel domestically and internationally to support program milestones and collaborate with global partners.
