We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.

As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love.

About the Role:

Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly motivated and strategic ATP (Advanced Technology Industrial Platform) Senior Product Launch Manager to join our team at the Manufacturing Technology Development Center (MTDC). In this critical leadership role, you will be the driving force behind the seamless integration and scaling of advanced manufacturing technologies across the global Ford Manufacturing Network.

You will act as the crucial bridge between technology development and plant execution, taking ownership of deployment strategy, resource allocation, and timeline management. If you are a visionary leader with a passion for manufacturing innovation, complex program management, and building the future of mobility, we want you on our team.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing), Business Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, product launch, or operations management within the automotive or advanced manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of directly managing large-scale technical deployment teams or cross-functional launch teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex resource planning, capacity analysis, and master scheduling.
  • Extensive experience conducting manufacturing/plant readiness assessments and driving gap-closure plans.

Even better, you may have...

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or an MBA.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or formal Agile/Scrum training.
  • Deep understanding of the Ford or Automotive Manufacturing Network, plant operations, and standard Ford launch processes.
  • Experience launching Advanced Technologies (e.g., Industry 4.0, robotics, automation, digital manufacturing systems, or EV infrastructure).
  • Exceptional executive-level communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical/logistical challenges into clear reports for senior leadership.
  • Strong conflict-resolution skills and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder…or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:

  • Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage
  • Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more
  • Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more
  • Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases
  • Tuition assistance
  • Established and active employee resource groups
  • Paid time off for individual and team community service
  • A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day
  • Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.

This position is leadership level 5 and ranges from $138,240-261,720.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

What you'll do...

Deployment Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional deployment teams consisting of engineers, technicians, and project managers.
  • Establish clear performance objectives, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with Ford’s overarching strategic goals.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the MTDC engineering teams, product development, and the receiving assembly/powertrain plants.

Deployment Resource Planning

  • Develop comprehensive resource management strategies to support concurrent ATP launches across multiple facilities.
  • Forecast, allocate, and manage personnel, budgets, and equipment to ensure optimal utilization and cost-efficiency.
  • Identify resource constraints early and develop proactive mitigation strategies to prevent launch delays.

Schedule & Timeline Management

  • Create, maintain, and execute master deployment schedules for all ATP initiatives within the Ford Manufacturing Network.
  • Integrate ATP deployment timelines with overarching vehicle program launch schedules (e.g., GPDS/FPDS milestones) to ensure zero disruption to plant operations.
  • Monitor critical path activities, track deployment milestones, and lead recovery plans for any off-track deliverables.

Plant Readiness & Execution

  • Own and execute comprehensive Plant Readiness Assessments prior to the installation of new technologies.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to ensure receiving facilities meet all infrastructure, safety, operational, and technical prerequisites.
  • Drive the closure of all readiness gaps, ensuring local teams are fully trained and equipped to operate and maintain the new technology post-deployment.
  • Facilitate post-launch reviews and capture lessons learned to refine future deployment frameworks.
