MMOTA (Multi-Modules Over the air update) also named as Ford VSU(Vehicle Software Update) Platform solution; A Ford self developed technology to providing capability of vehicle software update service. We are looking for a talented player to work as application feature engineer leading the VSU feature design and delivery activities for Ford Domestic and Export business .

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with Global Product owner and User Experience Engineers to define and improve VSU feature user experience; 
    • Capture Program specific feature requirements and collaborates with vehicle engineering to identify China program specific VSU attributes, performance need and measures;
  • Working with Global core  team on feature Design to ensure a consolidated Ford software update experience for all updatable vehicle architecture/platform
    • VSU Flow Prototyping and simulation, review the core design and support application level implementation Plan
    • Conduct data and customer survey analysis of China program specific requirements, Config or Update feature with program specific requirements
    • Leading application feature design review
  • Feature Specifications delivery and clarification
    • Support Owner’s Manually Define/Review/Signoff process
    • Define/Review/Update feature specification(s) of VSU feature and support interface documentation generating . Leading clarification with development team to finalize the design spec review to kickoff development work.
    • Leading the delivery Plan drafting and tracking within cross teams.
  • Feature Verification related activities to support vehicle launch and feature delivery
    • Ensure feature meets Customer expectations for a specific vehicle program in Validation Phase
    • Working with Global Core feature team on test method and procedure of IVSU feature level
    • Update Test Procedures as required and apply test method and procedure with Validation team of feature validation result
    • Sign- off IVSU feature of China vehicle programs
  • Working with VSU team internally after vehicle launch to support VSU deployment/operation projects , educating and knowledge base building ; Contribute for VSU running as an End to End Platform Product ;

 

 

Strategy thinking mindset and Able to tell the story with a simple/clear way

Excellent summarize and documentation capability.

Familiar with V Modeling Development method.

Skilled Customer behavior & Customer Data Analysis capability as foundation Data driven Mindset

Verifiable OTA project/Feature/Function delivery samples

Good at Communication across multiple teams to define gap/raise proposal /tradeoff and get alignment

Education Qualification: Bachelor degree or above major in engineering and science technology

Preferred previous experiences: Other OEM OTA Solution leading working experience

Behavioral skills: sense of business urgency, effective decision making with business data analysis, strong verbal and written communication skills of both Chinese and English;
