The User Experience Content team contributes to Fidelity.com, Net Benefits.com, our flagship mobile app, and other digital platforms that help users access and manage workplace benefits. These are among the most heavily trafficked financial services websites and mobile applications in the world. This team’s strength lies in its ability to view the experience holistically and connect customers with the right Fidelity products and services.

As Vice President of User Experience Content Strategy, you will be the connective tissue between our Brokerage products and how customers experience them through our digital ecosystem. Partnering with Product, Design, and Research teams, you will be responsible for shaping our core trading activity helping customers find investments, determine portfolio fit, and elevate their investing through advanced tools. As a key member of the Creative & Content team, you’ll lead a group of User Experience Writers and Content Strategists and ensure experiences across Fidelity.com and the Fidelity mobile app are customer-centric, clear, and easy to use. . Your team will craft intuitive, instructional, and conversational content that empowers customers to plan and invest for their futures.

Play a pivotal role in leading end-to-end communication strategies, ensuring consistent use of brand voice and tone, driving personalization, and advocating for the thoughtful integration of artificial intelligence.

Through clear and persuasive communication—both verbal and visual—you’ll present ideas and share the data-driven rationale behind content design decisions. You’ll collaborate with Product Area Leads and the Head of User Experience Content to manage prioritization, staffing, and coordinate multiple projects across the company.

The Expertise You Bring:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in user experience, content strategy, and design with a compelling portfolio to showcase your skills.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, the industry language is fluent to you

  • 5+ years managing a team of 5 or more UX Writers, Content Strategists, or Designers.

  • Experience creating personalized experiences across mobile and web platforms.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, financial planning, or wealth management.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically when needed.

The Skills You Bring:

  • Deep expertise in content strategy, including communication planning, SEO in the age of AI, UI copywriting, machine learning-driven personalization, and performance measurement.

  • Ability to create, teach, and critique UX flows, sitemaps, priority guides, and content that align with product goals across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to earn trust from peers and executives in a complex, matrixed organization.

  • Collaborative mindset with experience partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers to brainstorm and develop concepts.

  • Active contributor to the design process, with the ability to lead testing and customer validation efforts.

  • Executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Mastery of design thinking and the ability to guide teams in solving the right problems with the right methods.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000-258,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
