About the role

About the Role:

To manage end-to-end supply chain operations with a primary focus on Planning and Logistics, ensuring seamless order processing, production planning, and execution of dispatches, warehousing, and distribution activities.
The role is responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, overseeing shipping operations, and ensuring compliance with EXIM Policy and Incoterms to achieve on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

Planning & Operations:

  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate production and dispatch activities to ensure on-time export and domestic shipments through third-party manufacturing partners, supporting global business requirements.

  • Develop and monitor short and long-term production plans with suppliers; review weekly schedules to ensure alignment with demand and shipment timelines.

  • Ensure end-to-end planning accuracy to avoid delays and disruptions across the supply chain.

  • Planning paper part deliveries to plant for leftover toys or any other changes.
    Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with internal functions including Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Warehouse, Valving, and external manufacturing partners to meet operational and business needs.

  • Conduct regular coordination with overseas teams, Indian suppliers, and contract manufacturers via virtual meetings, calls, and emails to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and drive timely execution.
    Supplier & Partner Management

  • Maintain strong working relationships with key manufacturing partners to ensure effective communication and smooth operations.

  • Monitor partner’s production performance and weekly delivery schedules to meet requirements at Ferrero destination plants.

  • Conduct regular visits to partner manufacturing locations to assess production processes, compliance, and plant operations.
    Inventory Management

  • Monitor and control toy inventory levels to ensure optimal coverage while managing working capital efficiently.

Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare and present monthly performance reports, production updates, and management presentations highlighting risks, progress, and improvement actions.
  • Manage weekly supply planning data updates within SAP-APO, BW.

Logistics :

  • Own and execute end to end logistics operations covering import, export, and domestic movements, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Lead coordination with freight forwarders and shipping lines for sea and air shipments, including bookings, delivery execution, and accurate documentation handling.
  • Provide advance container volume forecasts based on production and dispatch plans to support capacity planning with logistics partners.
  • Plan and manage FCL and LCL export shipments aligned with production output and business demand while optimizing logistics and freight costs.
  • Conduct regular operational reviews with freight forwarders to align requirements, address issues, and ensure schedule adherence.
  • Manage import and domestic mould shipments, including logistics planning, movement execution, and compliance documentation.
  • Verify logistics, freight, and service invoices against source documents and coordinate with Finance for timely vendor payment processing.
  • Creating PRs, POs, SOs, SAs and service entries as per operational and contractual requirements.

About You:

EDUCATION-
Graduation – preferably in a technical field
4-6 yrs of experience in relevent filed

SPECIFIC KNOWLEGE-

  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel with VBA language, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proficient in the use of SAP (APO, ECC, Material manager module)
  • Fluent in English. Any additional language is welcome.
