Talent Consultant, Supervising Associate

Everything we do for our clients comes down to having the right business and technical knowledge and experience for every occasion. Naturally, there’s plenty going on behind the scenes to make that happen, and our colleagues across the business look to our Talent team to guarantee that everything runs seamlessly. As a Talent Consultant supervising associate, you’ll be at the heart of that goal, partnering with a diverse team of professionals to provide people-driven HR services. We’re focused on developing the leaders who will support us in building a better working world, and you’ll have the opportunity to influence the change of our programs and development of our people.

The opportunity

Talent has seen a significant investment and growth in our people, and you’ll see that reflected in this role. You’ll develop relationships and team with our leaders, influencing decisions in a culture that recognizes and builds on successes. Our leaders will look to you to provide guidance and solutions on employee relations while driving our talent agenda forward to meet our business strategy. You can expect to be part of a world-class team, where creative thought and innovative ideas are cherished.

Your key responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for coordinating and facilitating human resources activities for a specific population. Working closely with other Talent team members, you’ll implement, execute and influence innovative HR programs and processes in line with our Talent agenda, including performance management, compensation and career development. You’ll address and resolve a wide range of employee inquiries and provide guidance to our business leaders. You’ll also be responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to staffing, headcount, budgets and compensation to identify trends and make appropriate recommendations.

Skills and attributes for success

  • A proven ability to manage a diverse portfolio of projects

  • Working knowledge of HR laws and practices

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to influence leaders around new programs and change

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Five-plus years of relevant experience with working knowledge of United States Labor Laws

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong command of English Language (written and oral)

  • Cross border working knowledge

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Society for Human Resource Management certification

  • Experience working within a professional services industry or complex matrixed environment

What we look for

We’re interested in influencers with a broad and extensive knowledge of HR processes. You’ll need to be comfortable questioning ideas, processes and senior colleagues — all while overseeing multiple projects or employee issues. If you have a genuine passion for talent management and the confidence to take on new responsibilities proactively to stay ahead of demand, this role is for you.
