The Opportunity
As a Back-End .NET Developer in our Technology Strategy & Transformation team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend solutions that drive business transformation. You'll be part of a dynamic, cross-functional team delivering innovative technology solutions for clients across industries, enabling their digital transformation journeys and unlocking the value of IT as a strategic enabler.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business requirements and technical specifications into robust, scalable backend applications.
Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions and APIs using .NET (.NET Framework/.NET Core) and C#.
Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and security of applications.
Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and participate in system deployment processes.
Manage deployment pipelines, perform rollbacks when necessary, and participate in technical change and release management.
Maintain and enhance code quality through peer reviews, refactoring, and adherence to coding standards.
Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.
Skills & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in backend development using .NET technologies.
Proficient in C#, .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
Solid experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience working with SQL Server and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework.
Understanding of web application architecture, networking concepts, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and microservices architecture.
Exposure to front-end technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, or React.js for integration purposes.
Understanding of secure coding practices and application security.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud-based database systems.
Professional certification in .NET development, Azure, or related technologies is an advantage.
