The Opportunity
As part of our expanding **Government & Public Sector (GPS)**practice, we are seeking a motivated Business Consultant having experience in public policy analysis, evaluations and deep knowledge on the Hungarian and European public sector. The team is also involved in waste management and circular economy consultancy projects with a strong focus on waste management policy advisory and circular transformation support.
In this role, you will contribute to transformative projects that aim to enhance efficiency within public sector organizations. You will work alongside a talented team to develop innovative solutions that address critical challenges.
Your key responsibilities

Conduct market assessments and analyses related to different public policy fields, including waste management and circular economy.

Gather and synthesize information through client interviews, workshops, and document reviews to contribute policy and operational process analyses.

Collaborate with project managers to design and deliver high-quality project outputs, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Identify opportunities for improvement within existing public sector services and contribute to the development of new solutions.

Build and maintain relationships with clients, engaging with senior decision-makers to enhance organizational performance.

Skills and attributes for success

1-3 years of relevant work experience in public sector consulting, waste management, circular economy.

A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Public Administration, Business Environmental Science, etc.).

Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills in Hungarian and English.

Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
