The opportunity
EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Digital Risk team, which is part of our Risk Consulting service line. As a Senior, you will be contributing to the engagement team in helping our clients to make better decisions and work on their most important challenges relating to security, risks, and controls, including the IT Risk Management and IT Governance.
The successful candidate can expect to work with cross functional teams internally and client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process, and will assist clients and other risk assurance professionals in performing information technology control and security engagements, including but not limited to implementation of ERP and GRC solutions, IT risk assessments and controls review / testing, and focus upon cloud adoption risk and emerging technology risk.
Your key responsibilities
You will operate as a key team member to assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk. Specifically, you will be required to:

Supporting the delivery of ERP project implementations across a broad range of technologies (including SAP, Oracle, etc.) and a focus on cloud adoption risk and emerging technology risk.

Identify key risks and controls and ensure controls optimization, as well as enabling configuration of controls around security, business process and within the ERP solution.

Overseeing full cycle project risk management tasks relating to project delivery.

Working effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.

Sharing technical knowledge with team members as well as coaching and mentoring to junior team members.

Skills and attributes for success:
-
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ERP Security and IT governance, risk assessment, cloud adoption risk, emerging technology risk and implementation.

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or another relevant program.
-
Possess relevant accounting / audit designation(s) or working towards one (e.g. CPA, CIA, and/or CISA).

Demonstrated knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, or other IT frameworks would be an asset.
-
Demonstrated knowledge of specific platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Windows, etc. would be an asset.

Proficiency using Share Point and MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, One Note and PowerPoint.

Strong understanding of risk and control concepts, IT frameworks, and GRC solutions

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
