DTVA is an industry leader in the creation of animated television products for preschoolers, kids, and tweens. A cover letter indicating your interest in the Disney Television Animation Creative Production Intern, Summer 2026 position is required along with a link to your portfolio/website included on your resume or cover letter. **What You Will Do** As a Creative Production Intern for DTVA, you will learn the inner workings of the creative and production side of the organization. You will gain insight into the world of storytelling through exposure to a writer’s room, storyboard pitches, casting (recording/ADR session), script breakdown, tracking artwork, and to the post-production process including calling retakes and attending mix/playback to delivery. You will be assigned to a show(s) on an animated TV series and gain insight into production and artistic staff responsibilities. Not every day is the same as a Production Intern, but you can expect some of the following: - Collaborate with production/creative teams and technical staff on various, ongoing projects. - Shadow and learn the responsibilities of an Artist within a studio environment. - Gain insight into the world of storytelling. **Required Qualifications & Skills** - Experience using MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. - Prior (external to school) internship within media/entertainment. - Strong interest and passion for animation. - Strong curiosity in television and the entertainment industry. - Knowledge of Disney Television Animation content. - Must be highly organized and detail oriented. **Preferred Qualifications** - Proven experience with Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, Storyboard Pro, Illustrator, and Maya a plus. **Education** - Junior or Senior year preferred - A student studying in Animation, Illustration, Sequential Arts, Entertainment Design or a related discipline **Eligibility Requirements & Program Information** **Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:** - Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. - Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program. - Be at least 18 years of age - Possess unrestricted work authorization **Additional Required Documents:** - **A cover letter indicating your interest in the Disney Television Animation Creative Production Intern, Summer 2026 position is required along with a link to your portfolio/website included on your resume or cover letter.
