Ergonomics Specialist Trainee is a member of OHS team responsible for evaluating working environment, workstations, tasks, and equipment to ensure they meet ergonomic standards, reduce injury risk, and promote employee well-being, comfort and productivity. The role involves conducting assessments, developing recommendations, and training engineers in ergonomics principles.

What you will do:

  • Conduct ergonomic assessments of workstations, tools, and job tasks across the organization
  • Identify potential ergonomic risks, recommend practical solutions to prevent musculoskeletal disorders and develop targeted ergonomic interventions
  • Maintain awareness of ergonomic standards and best practices; recommend updates to policies and workplace design. Collaborate with engineers and facility management to integrate ergonomic best practices into workplace design. Assist and advise in selecting or designing ergonomic workstations, tools, and equipment
  • Provide training and education to engineers and production employees on proper posture, workstation setup, and safe work practices

  • Students studying Ergonomics, Occupational Health, Kinesiology, Industrial Engineering or similar field
  • Strong foundational knowledge of ergonomics & ergodesign principles, human factors, and workplace safety standards.
  • Genuine interest in how people feel at work and how the work environment affects their well-being
  • Curious, passionate individuals eager to bring fresh ideas, adapt to change and learn quickly
  • Candidates who are willing to take initiative, challenge themselves, and make a positive impact
  • High proficiency in English, both verbal and written

  • Currently studying at a University or Vocational School
  • Your current study course will continue after August 2026
  • You have valid working rights in Estonia at least till 31.08.2026
  • You are available and ready to commit to the traineeship full time (Mon-Fri) for at least standard period of 01.06-14.08.2026
