About this opportunity:

We are currently seeking a canidate with Ericsson Charging System. The candidate will be responsible to provides BSS (Charging System) operation & Maintenance of any change or issue in the N/W. Trouble ticket handling 24X7 and handling customer issues.
Designs, plans and oversees installation and maintenance of BSS (Charging System Nodes), including Capacity Utilization and Capacity forecast based planning, Interface analysis, Memory Utilization, DB utilization, CPU utilization, and proactive planning to avoid any network impact.
Optimize contains parameter tuning, audits, handover of new solutions implementations/nodes etc.
Under Operations, Individual is responsible for ticket handling & 24X7 support for customer network.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in scripting and automation using SQL, Bash, AWK, and SED
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, SS7, Diameter, and CAMEL call flows
  • Expert-level proficiency in packet analysis using Wireshark
  • Strong experience in end-to-end troubleshooting and issue resolution in live telecom environments
  • Familiarity with ticketing, Change Request & Monitoring tools
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and handle escalations
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Understand network and technology evolutions from IN perspective including converged networks.
  • Knowledge on E// Charging system is must.
  • Experience with IN Nodes like ECMS, EMA, EMM, SDP, CCN, IVR, NgVS, AIR, NgCRS & OCC. With good troubleshooting skills and understanding of the solution.
  • Good communication skills

Accountabilities (major/routine/minor)

  • Ticket handling as per SLA
  • Perform operations & maintenance tasks on daily/weekly basis.
  • Secure Daily/Weekly & Monthly backups.
  • Access management
  • Access reports and databases to gather data on network statistics (routine)
  • Assist experienced engineers in the development of optimization and capacity plans (routine)
  • Maintaining Operational Calendar.
  • Handling Customer requirement & implement the same in the Network.
  • Perform audit on different Charging System node.
  • Prepare implementation plan for audit findings/Customer requirement.
  • NPI/MAPA report analysis & plan for correction.
  • Preparation of Governance slides.
  • Feasibility analysis & propose new solution for all Changes in the Network.
  • 24X7 support for critical incident
  • Rotational shift as per customer timings & rotation.

Personnel Skills

  • Fluent in English (written and oral)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix management environment
  • Demonstrated ability to assist in the development of network solution presentations

Experience/Seniority

  • BS technical/Engineering degree
  • Experience
  • Total 1 to 13 years, out of which 2-5 year of Ericsson IN is must).
