The Learning Management System (LMS) Analyst is responsible for the functional and technical analysis, implementation, customization and support of either the internal LMS and/or Performance Management system. This role will have significant accountability for ensuring effective requirements identification, planning, integration, design, configuration, testing, reporting and support. This will require collaboration with the customer, Learning Teams, Technology Teams and vendor partners. The Analyst will maintain a focus of user-centric design and responsive end-user support. The Analyst is responsible for the day to day management of the LMS. This role must have a high degree of technical expertise, collaboration, and a strong client service orientation. Project management skills and basic understanding of adult learning principles are essential to this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Generate excitement in customers and engage the learning community through continuous improvement opportunities
  • Develop and execute technology strategies that further the Learning & Development business
  • Enable superb communication and execution through effective project and change management
  • Ensure compliance with process, technology and data requirements according to system governance
  • Provide technical support, including troubleshooting issues, responding to client inquiries, system maintenance and integrity.
  • Knowledge of system reports and ability to create custom reports
  • Partner with content developers to test and ensure compatibility between e Learning content and the LMS.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvement and ensure configuration and system settings and use are optimized.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Technology or related subject or commensurate business experience
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience with learning management systems and working on a training team.
  • Excellent communication skills. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of reporting techniques and standards.
  • SQL knowledge a plus. Demonstrated ability to evaluate project objectives and scope feasibility, gain understanding, and develop action plan for execution.
  • Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in technology management including user administration, multi-system integrations, data requirements, system configuration, system testing, and issue resolution
