As a part of our Pressure Management Business Unit (PRM), we're seeking a dedicated Trade Compliance Specialist to play a pivotal role in our global trade operations in our Stafford, Texas location. You'll be working directly under the Leadership of the Senior Manager of Global Trade Compliance, focusing on ensuring all import and export activities across our North American locations are in strict adherence to U.S. and non-U.S. laws, regulations, and Emerson Corporate policies. If you would like to bring your knowledge and expertise to an industry leader we would love to hear from you In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:- Support Emerson Global Trade Compliance efforts to maintain and enhance Pressure Management process and procedures regarding regulated trade activities (imports, exports, trade programs).
- Perform basic legislative and regulatory impact analysis.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable import and export regulatory requirements.
- Correspond with external organizations such as customs brokers, freight forwarders/agents and carriers.
- Perform regular import/export operational compliance audits per Emerson and Trade Compliance Management System guidelines to ensure due diligence/reasonable care with regulatory requirements and implement corrective actions as vital.
- Supporting Pressure Management products for import and export purposes in accordance with the U.S. Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Other Government Agencies (OGA) as applicable.

For This Role, You Will Need:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Proven track record in Trade Compliance
- Experience with HTS and ECCN classification
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in International Trade, Business, or Logistics
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP and/or Oracle.
- Experience with Trade Sphere Exporter (TSE).
- Knowledge of the US HTS, EAR, and CBP regulation
