Position Summary:

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring full tax compliance and accurate reporting for the entities assigned within Emerson. You will support both U.S. GAAP and Mexican GAAP requirements and collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and Corporate teams to deliver precise, timely, and compliant tax filings and analyses. This role is essential to maintaining Emerson’s commitment to financial integrity, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensure tax compliance for U.S. GAAP purposes

• Ensure tax compliance for Mexican GAAP purposes

• Prepare federal and local tax returns and submit them on time

• Prepare the annual transfer pricing analysis

• Coordinate the annual IMSS and local tax audit opinion together with the HR team

• Coordinate the annual tax audit opinion in partnership with the Finance team

• Attend tax, social security, and local authority reviews

• Report tax matters to Corporate following Emerson’s policies and procedures

• Ensure proper tax accounting processes and reconciliations

• Ensure compliance with REPSE, Condusef, and CNBV obligations (according to assigned entities)

• Prepare VAT refund requests for assigned entities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly tax reports

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Experience as a Senior Tax Analyst (minimum 3 years) in international companies

• Intermediate English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience with U.S. GAAP and Mexican GAAP tax calculations and provisions

• Experience participating in tax and finance audits

• Support in transfer pricing processes

• Experience with VAT returns and compliance requirements

• Knowledge of deferred taxes
