Job Summary:
As a Medical Representative at Lilly (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd., you will be responsible for effectively promoting Lilly's innovative pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals within a designated territory, fostering strong relationships, and driving product awareness and adoption to improve patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key healthcare professionals (HCPs) including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other relevant medical staff in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare institutions.
- Present detailed and accurate information about Lilly's pharmaceutical products, including their features, benefits, clinical data, and appropriate usage, in compliance with company policies and ethical guidelines.
- Understand and effectively communicate complex scientific and medical information to HCPs, addressing their questions and concerns comprehensively.
- Execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and objectives within the designated territory.
- Regularly analyze market trends, competitor activities, and territory performance to identify opportunities and challenges, adapting strategies as needed.
- Organize and participate in medical symposia, educational events, and product presentations to enhance product knowledge and awareness among HCPs.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and territory management in the CRM system.
- Adhere to all company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards, including those related to pharmaceutical promotion and compliance.
- Provide timely feedback to management on market intelligence, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as marketing, medical affairs, and sales management to optimize territory performance.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related life science field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Representative in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong scientific and clinical knowledge, with the ability to understand and articulate complex medical information.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is required. English proficiency is a plus.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
