e Bay Live is reinventing how people shop by merging live entertainment, community, and commerce into a single experience. Sellers host interactive livestreams where buyers can watch, chat, and purchase instantly. e Bay Live connects collectors, enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs in real-time across categories such as Fashion, Collectibles, Luxury, Coins, and Sports.

About the role & team

We are seeking an Associate Category Manager to join the e Bay Live team. You will support the growth of one of e Bay Live’s core categories by assisting with seller management, analyzing performance, and implementing programs that drive engagement and revenue.

In this role, you will work closely with Category Managers, Business Development, and Programming to help shape category strategy, strengthen seller performance, and deliver high-quality live experiences.

What you will accomplish

  • Category Growth: Support day-to-day operations as well as the strategic development of your assigned category.
  • Seller Management: Work closely with sellers to improve event performance, consistency, and engagement.
  • Data & Analytics: Track GMV, Seller Health, and Buyer Retention metrics via dashboards and reports.
  • Programming Coordination: Coordinate category programming, including scheduling, promotions, and major event formats (Tentpole Events).
  • Onboarding: Assist in identifying and onboarding new sellers in collaboration with Business Development.
  • Reporting: Maintain internal trackers, recaps, and performance reviews for your category.

What you will bring

  • Experience: 3+ years' of experience in Account Management, E-commerce, or marketplace management.
  • Communication: Excellent organizational skills combined with strong communication abilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset and proficiency in using dashboards as well as Excel or Tableau reports.
  • Working Style: A creative, solution-oriented approach and a passion for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in live commerce, storytelling, and helping sellers succeed.
  • Languages: Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
