About e Bay Live
e Bay Live is changing the way people shop — bringing entertainment, community, and trust into real-time commerce. Sellers stream, chat, and sell directly to buyers across categories from collectibles to fashion and luxury goods. It’s fast, data-driven, and built like a startup within e Bay.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Category Manager (Fashion) to lead one of e Bay Live’s fastest-growing verticals. You’ll be the business owner for your category — responsible for driving GMV growth, crafting seller strategy, and connecting content, commerce, and community.
You’ll partner across Product, Business Development, Marketing, Programming, and customer services to define what success looks like for your vertical and how we get there. This role blends analytics, storytelling, and strategy — and is central to scaling live commerce globally.
What You’ll Do
- Own GMV growth and seller performance for your category, setting targets and optimizing ROI across programs.
- Manage your category’s seller portfolio — coaching high-potential sellers, tracking performance, and ensuring quality standards.
- Build and implement category programming (e.g., “Gem Nights,” “Fashion Fridays,” or “Coin Craze Saturdays”) that drive retention and excitement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on inventory, visibility, and category goals.
- Manage category-level incentive budgets and track ROI to ensure investment efficiency.
- Use insights, market and competitor trends, and dashboards to forecast, analyze trends, and adjust strategy.
- Represent your category in leadership reviews, advocating for sellers, growth levers, and market opportunities.
Who You Are
- Demonstrated ability in category management, e-commerce, or marketplace operations.
- Proven success managing seller or merchant portfolios and driving measurable growth.
- Strong analytical skills — fluent in data tools like Tableau or similar.
- Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator.
- Deep curiosity about creators, live shopping, and community-driven commerce.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, experimental environment.
- Fluent in English & French
Location
Based in Paris. Occasional travel may be required for seller events, conventions, or team offsites.
