Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

Work You’ll Do

• Research, diagnose, and resolve accounting and financial data integrity issues.
• Investigate and clear unliquidated obligations (ULOs), unmatched disbursements, and aged accounts payable in SAP ERP ECC, with a focus on the FI, FM, and PS modules.
• Leverage reporting and analytical tools, including ERP and Advana, to efficiently identify and address financial discrepancies.
• Prepare and deliver weekly reports to Senior leadership on resolution status
• Develop and implement internal controls for programs to reduce UMTs, ULOs, and Aged APs.

Qualifications

Required: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or Related Field
• Active DOD Secret Clearance Required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• 5+ years of hands on experience in DOW SAP ERP ECC
• 5+ years of data cleansing experience to include;
• Troubleshooting and resolution of Daily Defense Expenditure File
• Demonstrated ability to clear unliquidated orders, unmatched disbursements, and aged payables in large ERP environments
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills in a complex financial management setting
• Experience supporting federal, DoD, or Navy financial processes
• Ability to perform job responsibilities within a work model that requires professionals to co-locate in person 3 – 5 days per week in Arlington, VA.

Preferred: 

• Experience working with DOW ERP systems.
• Familiarity or direct experience with Advana analytics platform.
• Prior experience supporting Department of War clients in a data quality or accounting technician capacity.
• Experience with DCAS system.
• Experience performing business financial manager (BFM) roles for DoW programs, including accounting, budgeting, and fiscal operations
