Software Senior Principal Engineer for Power Flex (Storage Data Path Product Owner)

What you’ll achieve As a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

• Design high level architecture and lead development of software replication features across the agile lifecycle – from requirements and design to implementation, testing, and long-term support

• Experiment with and integrate emerging AI infrastructure and frameworks into the development workflow to boost productivity and innovation

• Design and implement algorithms to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability

• Drive adoption of best practices, mentoring peers and influencing technical direction across teams

• 12+ years of hands-on experience with one or more of the following: storage, device drivers, databases, embedded software/firmware development, networking.

• Expert level programming skills with proficiency in C/C++ and Python

• Strong experience and understanding of Linux internals

• Background or knowledge in AI infrastructure or tools (e.g., RAG, MCP, open-source LLMs such as Llama, model fine-tuning, or orchestration frameworks), and their application in modern software engineering

• Great team player with the ability to work independently when required

Desirable Requirements

• Strong knowledge of networking, including RDMA, NVMe, and related high-performance protocols

• Experience in agile methodologies
