Senior Software Engineering Manager:

What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Manager, you will be responsible for leading the software development team (about 20 people) and driving the technical direction of Dell's Solution Engineering team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and quality assurance to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs. You will also be responsible for driving technical innovation, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the adoption of best practices and industry trends, including AI and machine learning technologies.And you will be part of our leadership team to work closely with senior engineering leaders, architects and product owners to deliver products. And you will build up good business sense to understand and define the next generation Dell Private Cloud product together with global talents, and to win together with our customers.
You will:
- Lead team to plan and make high quality delivery, including grooming, design, development, test and customer issue support.
- Create and maintain a high performing, engaged team.
- Care people development as well as release delivery.
- Be able to coach the team to mitigate the risks and issues
- Teamwork with peer teams to reach business goal and for customer satisfaction.
Management responsibilities
1.Team Management: Manage a team of 20 SW Engineers. Pass down the culture from top. Setting goals and prioritization.
2.Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop growth plans for team members.
3.Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure successful project execution.
4.Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders, including product owners, product marketing, field quality support team to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

- BA/MS degree in Computer Science or similar disciplines with 15+ years of work experience with 10+ years team management experience.
- Experience managing large teams of software engineers, including setting goals, priorities, and resource allocation.
- Strong background in agile software development, with project management skills.
- Experience in Python or Golang or other programming langagues
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Very good Problem solving and analytical skills
Desirable Requirements:
- Micro service knowledge is a plus..
- Domain knowledge on Cloud/Virtualization/HCI technology is a plus.
- Experience with containerized orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Rancher, etc) is a plus
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github CI/CD) is a plus
AI Skillset Requirement (Plus)
•Machine Learning: Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and neural networks.
- Natural Language Processing: Experience with NLP techniques, including text processing, sentiment analysis, and language modeling.
- Computer Vision: Experience with computer vision techniques, including image processing, object detection, and image recognition.
- Predictive Analytics: Experience with predictive analytics techniques, including forecasting, regression, and time series analysis.
- AI Frameworks: Experience with AI frameworks, including Tensor Flow, Py Torch, and Scikit-learn.
experience of using Agentic AI to accelerate deveop or improve efficient of work - AI Strategy: Experience developing and implementing AI strategies to drive business growth and innovation.
- AI Leadership: Experience leading AI initiatives and teams, including setting direction, priorities, and resource allocation
