Server Platform Development Manager

What you’ll achieve

We are seeking a passionate and visionary AI Enterprise Systems Platform Development Manager to join our team. Our team focuses on the delivery of for AI enterprise systems across Server and Storage for external customers. In this role, you will be at the engineering epic center for the platform development, representing as engineering leader in the Core Team to collaborate with other leaders within Dell’s cross-functional organization, driving excellence and innovation in every aspect of your project, managing high-complexity AI products through the entire lifecycle. You will:

• Core Team Representative: Development Manager is the key role to represent platform engineering in the Core Team, collaborates with value chain including Program Manager, Product Management, Product Operation, Quality, Service and Supply Chain.

• Manage Development Efforts: Oversee and coordinate development efforts across diverse engineering teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.

• Vendor and Technical Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and technical partners to ensure alignment and success.

• Schedule, budget and Quality: Lead and drive Engineering development to meet program schedule and quality goal within budget target

• Portfolio Mindset &Business Acumen: : You will drive solution and release readiness with a closed-loop focus on best practices across portfolios and business units. Apply strong business insights to drive strategic decisions and optimize project outcomes to meet our customers’ needs.

Essential Requirements

• 12 to 15 years of related experience in a professional role

• Excellent knowledge and application of engineering concepts along with effective problem-solving ability

• Solid understanding of business environment and competition

• Ability to manage, motivate and direct a cross functional workgroup; and drive successful negotiations

• Solid interpersonal and presentation skills

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree
