Are you a passionate Developer Advocate at heart? Someone who loves bringing the community together, hosting and speaking at events, and diving deep into application development and developer experience?

As a Databricks Developer Advocate on the Neon Dev Rel team, you’ll serve as a key link between our engineering teams and the growing community of application and agent developers building on Postgres and Neon. You’ll use your technical expertise to help maintain and extend our SDKs, educate and inspire our users, and shape the future of Agent and Developer Experience (AX & DX) for Neon.

Developer experience will be at the core of your role. You’ll help maintain our TypeScript SDK and CLI, Neon’s MCP server, and other developer-facing tools — with a strong focus on staying ahead of the AI curve. You’ll share your expertise in DevTools and AX through talks, meetups, blog posts, videos, and community engagement. Your work will empower both agents and developers to build more effectively with Neon, while showcasing our commitment to world-class DX and AX.

You’ll collaborate closely with the neon.com community, as well as product and engineering teams, ensuring developer feedback directly informs product direction. You’ll also partner with fellow advocates, program managers, and the broader Databricks DevRel organization to deliver a cohesive and impactful agent experience strategy.

The ideal candidate embodies the values of our Dev Rel team: deep passion for application development, strong empathy for developer needs, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

In this role, you’ll educate and grow the Neon community through high-quality technical content and hands-on experiences — while continuously feeding insights back into the product to elevate the developer experience even further.
