System Requirements & Architecture

• Translate VOC/user needs into clear, verifiable system requirements.
• Define system boundaries, architecture, and interfaces across mechanical, electrical, controls, software, consumables and workflow.
• Lead system-level reviews (requirements/architecture/design), document trade-offs, and drive decision closure.

Verification & Validation (V&V)

• Create and execute System Verification Plan: scope, strategy, test environments, and Pass/Fail criteria.
• Build and maintain requirements-to-verification traceability (e.g., traceability matrix, verification records).
• Produce controlled verification evidence packages (protocols/records/reports) and drive deviation/issue closure.

Technical Evaluation& Risk Management

• Own technical evaluation for key design choices: feasibility, performance margins, reliability/serviceability considerations, and integration readiness.
• Identify system-level risks and drive mitigations/alternatives; enable high-quality gate decisions with evidence-based arguments.

Automation Platform / Orchestration / AI-ready

• Support deploying an orchestration layer on equipment and/or workstations to enable more autonomous, integrated workflows.
• Drive “AI-ready” enablers (data readiness, integration hooks/APIs, workflow orchestration) to strengthen differentiation and win rates.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Transfer

• Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Product/Commercial to align requirements, verification, and release readiness.
• Support tech transfer: system technical package, verification evidence, risk assessments/control inputs, and release decisions.

Additional duties

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the broader goals of the R&D and Innovation organizations.
