Senior Technician

Job Description Summary

Responsible to assist with the operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities.

Job Description About the Role:

• Lift Testing & Inspection – Perform routine and annual PTO tests on lifts/escalators per BCA standards, including checks on safety devices and operational functions.
• Documentation & Reporting – Maintain accurate test reports, checklists, and inspection records; report defects and ensure timely PTO documentation submission.
• Safety & Compliance – Adhere to BCA and WSH safety standards, follow lock-out/tag-out protocols, and support audits and compliance inspections.
• Coordination – Liaise with contractors, building owners, and Authorised Examiner for testing schedules and inspections.
• Troubleshooting & Support – Assist in diagnosing issues, verify rectification work, and prepare for re-tests.

About You:

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or relevant engineering fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in lift servicing, lift maintenance, or testing will be an advantage.
