Senior Facilities Engineer/ Facilities Engineer will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the M&E facilities in MOE Building. He shall oversee functions and activities of day-to-day M&E systems and prepare a systematic approach to repair, maintenance and improvement work to MOE Building. He/she shall develop, implement, review and maintain the maintenance regime and processes review processes and implement improvement to building services. He/she oversees the works carried out by the outsourced contractors and to ensure minimal disruption to the building operation. Facilities Engineer shall hold a degree/diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum eight years relevant experience in maintaining M&E systems in the high-rise office buildings. He/She must have practical knowledge of building services and M&E operations such as air conditioning system, electrical system and capable of troubleshooting system breakdowns. The Engineer shall personally attend all monthly meetings with the Employer and he/she shall be physically present on site during emergencies unless he/she has the prior permission from the Employer to absent himself/ herself from the meeting or emergencies and that an authorised representative will be attending on his/her behalf.
