As the Senior Manager of Product Design, you will drive the design vision and execution across a critical pillar of our product ecosystem, balancing strategic leadership with operational rigor. You will build upon frameworks that empower designers to thrive and deliver at scale. By forging deep rooted partnerships with Engineering and Product Management, you will act as a catalyst for cross functional alignment, ensuring that design continues to be a driver of momentum. Your leadership will be defined by your ability to further accelerate delivery by translating complex enterprise requirements into elegant, shippable solutions, while scaling the impact of our global team. What You'll Do

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Directly manage and develop a team of designers, providing rigorous feedback to drive continuous improvement in design competencies and professional development.

• Strategy & Vision: Define and align the design strategy for your product areas with broader business objectives and user needs.

• Elevate Quality: Set and maintain high standards for design quality across multiple workstreams, ensuring a consistent user experience that aligns with our design system.

• Player-Coach Execution: Balance strategic leadership with hands-on tactical execution, translating complex requirements into elegant, shippable designs and staying immersed in the daily design workflow.

• Cross-Functional Partnership: Establish effective workflows and communication channels between Design, Engineering, and Product Management to ensure alignment in a global environment

• Design Operations: Identify and implement improvements to the team’s operational efficiency, tools, and processes to maximize impact.

Who you are

• Experienced Design Practitioner: You have 8+ years of experience as a hands-on Product Designer (UX/UI, Interaction Design) in a technology or SaaS environment.

• Proven Leader: You have 3+ years of direct management experience, with a focus on coaching and developing talent, focusing on retention and engagement, and driving results through others.

• Complex Systems Expert: You have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and specific experience dealing with connectors, integrations, and complex enterprise data systems.

• Collaborative Relationship Builder: You are a strong communicator and storyteller, capable of building collaborative relationships and communicating design strategies to senior leadership.

• Global Collaborator: You are comfortable working in a global environment and have experience managing designers across different time zones, specifically in India.

• Strategic Thinker: You possess strong decision-making skills and use your knowledge of products, customers, and market trends to shape how design engages with the business.

Even Better if you have

• A Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, or a related field.

• Experience designing and launching experiences that integrate with third-party platforms.

• Familiarity with modern design tools such as Figma, design-to-code platforms, and GenAI design tools.

• A proven track record of leading design teams in dynamic environments and in ambiguous problem spaces.
