About the Role:

As the Regional Manager of Workplace Services (WPS), you will oversee Crowd Strike’s APJ-based workplace and office operations.  The Regional Manager will be responsible for the oversight of all day-to-day facilities and workplace operations throughout the APJ region, which currently includes leased locations in Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, Pune x 2, as well as our smaller, serviced office locations in Osaka, Melbourne, Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.

The candidate will provide oversight and direction to all APJ-based Workplace Services team members, with an emphasis on providing world class services to all CS staff and visitors. This role combines workplace services, facilities management, team leadership, project management, process implementation and tracking across the entire region. The ideal candidate demonstrates proven success in building, directing, and developing a diverse team while driving consistency across complex initiatives and programming to meet targeted timelines. This role liaises with key stakeholders in multiple regions to drive overall business success cross-functionally, including Human Resources, Procurement, Finance, IT/AV, Physical Security, and local senior leadership.

This role is based in our Singapore, SGP location and is required to be in office 5 days per week.  This role also requires recurring travel throughout the APJ region for team meetings, operational inspections and review, as well as targeted support for large scale company meetings and/or events.  Travel to the U.S. and EMEA may also be required for recurring leadership meetings and/or project support.

Location: Singapore (On-site)What You’ll Do:

  • Leads and manages a team of site-specific Workplace Coordinators and Concierge across multiple geographies

  • Champions the  creation of thoughtful and relevant team meeting agendas and ushers moments of deliberate collaboration, including virtual and in-person meetings

  • Ensures all regional offices are operated and maintained in alignment with world class standards and procedures

  • Engages and drives continuous quality and process improvement initiatives across all disciplines of WPS and office operations

  • Oversees the development and manages the annual operating budgets in their respective region, including financial variance tracking, and operations expenses management

  • Determines and establishes work priorities and staffing needs, including staff development, goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning for all WPS staff within region

  • Outlines and manages all special projects and strategic initiatives within region, engaging and directing WPS staff for stretch assignments as needed

  • Partners with the Director of Global Workplace Services and other Global Real Estate & Workplace Services (GREWS) leaders in the establishment and adherence of departmental operating procedures including custome r service standards, performance and productivity of staff, preventative and corrective maintenance, and overall functionality of all regional offices

  • Manages all 3rd party vendors in partnership with local WPS teams to develop and execute strategic departmental plans and standards, including janitorial, mechanical, physical security, foodservice, etc. This includes a key focus on the creation of and adherence to thresholds related to established minimum standards for WPS, in partnership with Director of Global Workplace Services

  • Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with cross-functional team members across several varying time-zones and regions, including landlord/building management, vendors, contractors, and consultants

  • Develops and maintains strategic relationships with executive and senior leadership to ensure that services are aligned with business requirements – keen focus on directing the WPS  staff to embrace a world class, hospitality-first mindset

  • Establishes and drives continuous focus on departmental quality assurance and casualty prevention/safety procedures. Includes ownership in establishing and maintaining local Health & Safety policy and requirements

  • Recurring regional travel to conduct site-based operational reviews and inspections, driving proactive management of all CS office operations within region

  • Interacts with various support groups and actively drives conversations and deliverables to ensure regulatory and compliance systems are maintained, and/or implementing processes where necessary

  • Partner with GPS (Global Physical Security) on all office related security matters

  • Partner with AV/IT Service Desk on all conference and meeting room technical operations, driving functionality and corrective actions where necessary

  • Partners with GREWS leadership on the operational aspects of any new regional office locations, expansions, and/or other physical workplace related renovations

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelors degree or industry-specific work experience of increasing responsibility with 10 years relevant exposure in regional workplace/facilities/office management including multi-site and multi-country operations

  • Previous experience working in and/or managing office operations within the India region is preferred, including knowledge of local customs and business dynamics

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment/solid decision-making skills, anticipate customer needs, and have a service-first mentality

  • Ability to set and reevaluate goals for self and all direct reports, demonstrate the ability pivot direction quickly; take initiative and multi-task

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, provides information in a clear/concise manner; good interpersonal skills; proven ability to interact with all levels of employees including senior executives

  • Advanced knowledge and skill in speaking/writing/reading of the English language is required.  Knowledge of the Japanese language is a plus.

  • Can manage high volume workload and drive results to meet deadlines

  • Possess excellent business judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities; proven ability to overcome challenges using innovative solutions

  • Keen understanding of sourcing/procurement, building infrastructure systems, FF&E maintenance, vendor management and customer service

  • Possess effective project management, planning, and programming skills

  • Knowledgeable with all common business computer applications including G-Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack.  Knowledge of Coupa procurement software is welcomed
