About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and proactive Corporate Development Senior Associate to join our Corporate Development team, with a specific focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This individual will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end deal lifecycle—from pipeline coordination through diligence and post-close integration—helping drive inorganic growth at scale.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional looking to gain deep exposure to strategic transactions, cross-functional execution, and enterprise growth strategy within a high-impact team.

Location: Bay Area preferred

Reports to: VP of Corporate Development

What You'll Do: M&A Program Management

  • Assist in managing the lifecycle of M&A transactions, including coordination of internal stakeholders during diligence and integration planning.

  • Maintain and track deal pipeline activities and documentation across multiple stages of the deal process.

  • Support project planning for acquisition execution and integration workstreams across Finance, Legal, Product, HR, IT, and other departments.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation including timelines, checklists, risk logs, and status reports.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Schedule and facilitate key meetings, diligence sessions, and internal reviews; track and follow up on action items.

  • Ensure cross-functional teams are aligned on deliverables and deadlines during fast-paced deal cycles.

  • Communicate updates to senior stakeholders and escalate blockers where needed to keep programs on track.

Process & Tools

  • Contribute to improving corporate development and M&A playbooks, templates, and project management processes.

  • Help maintain shared tools such as data rooms, diligence trackers, and integration dashboards.

  • Assist with post-close tracking and reporting on integration milestones and KPIs

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience, ideally in management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or internal corporate development/M&A support.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills; familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, or equivalent a plus.

  • Understanding of M&A processes and transaction phases (diligence, negotiation, close, integration).

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.

  • Proactive and resourceful mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow in the corporate development space.

Preferred:

  • Prior exposure to M&A deal flow in tech, cybersecurity, or SaaS environments.

  • Experience supporting large-scale, cross-functional projects.

  • Familiarity with post-merger integration best practices.
