Sanitation Technician - 2nd Shift at Conagra

Shift: 2:00 PM-10:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $21.87 an hour + $0.25 shift differential

DUTIES:

Sanitation is responsible for properly sanitizing the production area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to learn cleaning procedures.
• May be required to disassemble equipment as needed.
• Ability to work safely and participate in training specific to the job, such as proper chemical handling procedures.
• Must be able to climb stairs.
• Ability to work accurately and safely with equipment.
• Ensure machines and surrounding area is kept neat and sanitary.
• Adapt to changing situations and be able to establish priorities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, Crew leaders, QA, and Team Leaders
• Ability to train employees as needed.
• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and maintain an acceptable attendance record.
• Must be flexible to work different shifts as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions/documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
• Understand Vlasic policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
