Reporting to the Associate Director, Engine Life Management Team (ELMT) Asia Pacific, Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering (ASE), you will help to **support the engine centers and component repair shops in the overhaul and repair of commercial engines.**You will focus on supporting engineering needs in the region which include, but not limited to, repair development, limits development, structural analysis, engine investigation, part data trending, salvage clinics, metrology, reverse engineering, project management, shop support and technology. This position is based in **Eagle Services Asia (ESA) Singapore – 51 Calshot Road, with deployment to other sites locally and overseas as needed. **
What You Will Do
-
Establish that the technical data requirements are compliant to airworthiness standards and ensure repairs and limits are safe, durable, properly substantiated meeting the quality requirements of the component; perform or oversee analysis, as required.

Carry out repair design and structural analysis as needed for our technical data needs.

Support the customers in the resolution of field supportability issue with timely hardware disposition in support of shop turnaround time, cost and minimize workscope.

Trend hardware distress locally to identify needed limits/repairs and input to spare provisioning based on observed distress trending and metrology work as required.

Research operating environments and functionality of components, their interactions with mating parts, and develop strategies which will return damaged parts back to service.

Interface with CIPT/CAIPT/Shops to secure priorities and understand programmatic issues and conduct engine investigations.

Conduct repair process standard work reviews and undertake project work as required.

Lead and conduct technology work, research and projects in support of shops as required.

Continue to develop an improved personal understanding of the technologies, engine systems, business systems, regulations and business needs of the company and customers.

Foster an environment of creative technical ownership and rotation of responsibilities within the collaborative community of the regional ELMT Team.

Carry out CORE for cost-efficient development and execution of programs.

Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Occasional Global Travel will be required.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Aerospace, Mechanical & Production, Materials or equivalent.

Min 1-5 years of experience in the aerospace aftermarket and/or similar MRO.

Good engineering aptitude and ability to pick and learn independently.
-
Demonstrate communication skills including written and oral presentation proficiency.

Demonstrate business judgment, results driven, adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications We Prefer
-
Bachelor’s Degree with 2nd upper qualification and above is preferred.

Technical knowledge of commercial gas turbine engines or powerplant is preferred.

Basic understanding of Project Management processes, tools, and techniques, including knowledge and application of continuous improvement operating systems.
