Position Role Type:

Onsite

  • Purchase of direct materials, chemicals, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.

  • Responsible for analyzing the output of the MRP system, aligning material requirements within the supply base.

  • Ensure continuous supply of required materials and communication of any supply problems which may pose risk or impact on business operations through daily order and supplier management.

  • Evaluate areas of opportunity for cost reduction/savings to meet program budgets while ensuring compliance to business standards and procedures.

  • Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure OTD and DPPM compliance and manage performance activities.

  • Able to manage special projects and work collaboratively with stake holders and counterparts from mother site

  • Ensure adherence to KPI’s set for supply chain and organizational performance.

  • Liaises shipping documents (e.g. Bill of Lading/AWB, invoice and packing list) with inbound logistics for processing and clearance of goods.

  • Develop and implement business processes to improve supply chain systems and processes’ execution.

  • Support product change requests and communicate the impact to inventory and operations

  • Uphold high ethical standard code of conduct in internal and external dealings.

  • Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of any Bachelor’s / College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3years experience in procurement.

  • Ability to create consensus to ensure results from peers in cross-functional positions.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and life-long learning.

  • Excellent time management and active communication skills.

  • Ability to manage conflict across multiple roles and teams.

  • Knowledge of inventory management processes and philosophies, including MRP & Just in Time (JIT).

  • Understanding of financial reports and expense control.

  • Proven ability to analyze data and successfully develop and execute project plans.

  • Experience developing and delivering communications and presentations to both customers, public groups, and internal organizations (i.e., top management, boards of directors).

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with leadership (minimum – up to 2 levels up).

  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
