What You Will Do
- Establish manufacturing procedures and proper documentation control.
- Build new Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC program, and/Gauge plan with Siemens NX.
- Initiate productivity improvement activities including equipment/fixture selection, design and deployment.
- Resolve technical issues relating to internal and external customers' feedback.
- Perform feasibility studies in the manufacturing capacity improvement, layout improvements and expansion.
- Initiate continuous improvement activities to existing manufacturing system and its related processes.
- Participate actively in company-wide productivity and quality programs.
- Put up justification for capital expenditure (CAPEX).
Qualifications You Must Have
Minimum Education required (specific field or equivalent): Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Precision, Manufacturing, Material)
Minimum years of experience in role:
At least 3 years’of relevant working experience
Preferred Skills (if any):
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Strong understanding and hands on with precision machining tool (CNC 5-Axis /lathe / milling etc.).
- Team player and able to work closely with other teams on cross-functional projects.
- Competent in Unigraphics and/or other CAD/CAM applications.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal related skills.
