Joining Collibra’s Accounting team

This is a hybrid role based in our Czech office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.

Senior Accountants at Collibra are responsible for

G&A and S&M accounting:

  • Accrual accounting

  • PO approval process and management

  • Balance Sheet reconciliations for related accounts

Preparation of the financial statements

  • +10 countries incl.

US GAAP and IFRS:

  • GAAP conversion

  • Process management with external service provider

  • Leading the monthly and year-end closing process related to your global responsibilities

  • Assisting with the external group audit in relation to your global responsibilities

  • Assisting with ad hoc requests

  • Assisting process improvements through AI and automation

You have

  • Degree in accounting or finance (+4 years of experience)

  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel)

  • Experience with Netsuite, IFRS and Workiva is a plus

  • Work authorization to work in Prague, CZ.

  • Highly driven and detail-oriented, with a high bar of excellence in your work

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced global environment with a "roll-up the sleeves" approach in order to accomplish all variety of tasks

  • Team player, who can also work independently

  • Motivated by new challenges, strive to be consistently learning

Measures of success

  • Within your first month, you will gain fundamental understanding of the group structure and accounting related software (Netsuite, ZIP)

  • Within your third month, you will be responsible for processing all monthly entries and reconciliations related to G&A, S&M and Intercompany

  • Within your sixth month, you will take full ownership of the recurring monthly tasks and start assisting on the annual processes
