This position is a client facilitation manager role that works with and support Markets Sales to improve client experience.
- Support actively sales and contribute to improving the relationship between the entire company and its customers. (Client Experience)
- Work with Client Specialist to provide the necessary support for our sales activities, as well as deal with negotiations with customers
Responsibilities:
- Enhance client service levels by providing focused service to Markets Japan Sales clients
- Drive document negotiations with these clients and accordingly reduce overall backlogs.
- Create greater transparency around Credit/Legal requirements in documents, working closely with Sales and Relationship Managers
- Manage to make the client / account onboarding as well as KYC / AML process timely and efficient by working together with the relevant Operations and Compliance colleagues
- Drive the Markets Japan wide project to review and improve the client / account onboarding process as well as KYC/AML requirements / policies /procedures / templates to achieve the Sales and Client Experience
- Drive Firm policy for documentation/ credit initiatives to manage Citi risk profile while balancing the client relationships
- Develop themes for client documentation exception requests, and identify streamlined escalation solutions
Qualifications:
- Japanese and English (Professional level)
- Sales support and/or marketing experience
- Experience in Capital Markets or in Operations, Risk, Client On-boarding, Middle Office or, Understanding of Markets Products or Financial Degree
- Experience working in a financial organization or legal space may help
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Bloomberg or credit risk and settlement systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Superior quantitative / problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the products, clients and business dynamics (flow derivatives, indices, single-stock, exotics, multi asset equity derivative products) will help.
- Good understanding of Client Marketing needs
- Project management skills
- Good understanding of Client documentation and account opening / KYC procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
- Proven communications and project management skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
