Team/Role Overview

Corporate Actions team is responsible for sourcing, validation and accurate processing of corporate actions events from Citi systems and range of independent external data vendors (Bloomberg, Telekurs);

The team’s tasks are a part of preparation and delivery of the corporate action golden record to the Citi institutional clients. To do so, the team actively cooperates with other teams within Citi from different geographic locations to provide one standard service to the client.
What you’ll do:

Process coverage within: EMEA (9 a.m.

• 5 p.m.) or NAM (22 p.m.

• 6 a.m.) working hours

• Creation of corporate actions golden record on a security level;

• Processing corporate actions transactions into reference data system on a fund level;

• Review and process the elections as made by clients based on the golden record

• Cooperating with internal and external clients as well as with other teams involved global process.;

• Perform control functions in a process, verify transactions booked into accounting system and preparation of accounting summaries/reports;

• Understanding of the product and end to end process on the level sufficient for efficient interaction with department management

• Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies to identify process improvements and support the implementation of projects

• Interprets data and contributes to recommendations for process improvement, and/or the launch of new products/ services and upgraded platforms

What we’ll need from you:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-2 years of related job experience
• Individuals at this level exhibit basic executional capabilities and are beginning to take on more responsibility
• Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments including: Equity securities, Fixed Income and Asset Backed securities
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access- is desired)
• Proven success as a team player
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) is required, along with strong communication skills
