Citigroup is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Spread Products Sales professional. This role will be instrumental in expanding our market share in credit products, covering both flow credit and non-flow products, with a specific focus on our clients in Greater China. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to drive growth in credit products and enhance Citigroup's client footprint within the Greater China region.
  • Client Engagement: Leverage an extensive contact network to deeply understand client needs, effectively introduce Citigroup's global comprehensive credit offerings, and persuade clients to adopt our solutions, thereby increasing client satisfaction and generating revenue for Citigroup.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships with relevant internal stakeholders across Citigroup's global Credit franchise to identify and capitalize on buying and selling opportunities for clients.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Appropriately assess and manage risk in all business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for Citigroup's reputation. This includes safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring strict compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to internal policies, applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices, and transparently escalating, managing, and reporting any control issues.
  • Product Coverage: Manage a diverse product portfolio including both flow credit and non-flow credit products.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a client-facing role working with the buy-side community
  • Sales experience at a financial services organization
  • Proven interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Existing client relationships preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
