Role Summary

We are seeking a results-oriented Vice President to join our Business Execution team in Mumbai. This role is focused on defining and executing a comprehensive data and reporting strategy, leveraging AI and machine learning to drive innovation, enhance productivity monitoring, and re-engineer workflows. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert in JIRA reporting and automation, collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights using tools like Tableau, Qlik Sense, and Power BI. This position is pivotal in challenging existing processes, championing simpler reporting, and fostering a culture of data and AI literacy across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Innovation:

  • Define and execute a comprehensive data and reporting strategy within business execution, incorporating AI and machine learning to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Help drive the evolution of our data to meet the growing demands of our business and act as a thought leader, staying abreast of industry trends in AI, data, and DevOps to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in efforts to challenge existing reporting processes and contribute to the re-engineering of workflows to unlock efficiency and simplicity.

Platform & Process Excellence:

  • Contribute to the implementation of strategic tracking of productivity monitoring and work on the design and implementation of advanced workflows, AI-powered automation, and predictive reporting to enhance and monitor productivity and transparency.
  • Serve as the team’s subject matter expert on JIRA reporting, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  • Champion the adoption of automation and simpler reporting across services and provide expert-level support to teams looking at automation and reporting capabilities.

Data, AI, & Analytics

  • Partner with data teams to support the firm’s data and AI-led initiatives, from data ingestion and MLOps to advanced analytics and visualization using Tableau, Qlik Sense, and Power BI.
  • Develop a roadmap for integrating AI/ML models into our core work to automate processes and generate predictive insights.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investment coordinators, technology leaders, data scientists, and operations change teams.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of reporting solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology, with a proven track record of stakeholder management.
  • Extensive experience in the financial services industry, with a deep understanding of data analytics and reporting.
  • Demonstrated expertise working with JIRA and the Atlassian suite in a large, complex organization.
  • Proficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, and Power BI.
  • Proven experience with AI/ML concepts and technologies, including machine learning platforms, MLOps, and the integration of AI models into business processes. Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) is highly desirable.

  • Data & AI Fluency: A strong passion for data and AI, and the ability to use them to drive insights, efficiency, and decisions.
  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A team player with a proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
