Team/Role Overview
This is an intermediate-level role responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the client, internal and external stakeholders. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution and coordination of guarantee issuance, compliance with regulatory standards, and collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver superior service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end guarantee issuance and client onboarding in line with Citi’s operational and regulatory standards
- Review client documentation, signature authorities, and guarantee wording to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Partner closely with Clients, Relationship Managers, Product, Sales, Legal, and internal Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Serve as a primary contact for client inquiries, supporting both transactional and system-related needs
- Track and manage pending cases, ensuring timely follow-ups and adherence to turnaround expectations
- Ensure smooth hand-offs to Processing teams and maintain a high standard of control and quality
- Contribute to process enhancements, workflow optimization, and reporting improvements that strengthen operational efficiency
- Support product initiatives, client reviews, and broader team activities as required
Qualifications
- Experience in a client-facing environment, preferably within Trade Operations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent command of English and French (both verbal and written)
- High attention to detail, with the ability to review and interpret documentation accurately
- Strong client focus, problem-solving ability, and willingness to take ownership of issues
- Effective organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing business needs
