You will be a member of Cisco Nexus Dashboard Solutions team Cisco Nexus Dashboard is an excellent platform with integrated controller, orchestrator, analytics and assurance packages. Customer growth in last 2 years has been phenomenal. We work on cutting edge applications and there is ample creative liberty for developers to explore and adopt new technologies available as we adopt more AI coding suites and are developing solutions for or new AI based ethernet data centers. We have a plethora of different modules like telemetry collectors, ingestion pipelines, analytics pre and post processors, ML based engines, AI solutions, Integations for Vcenter, Slurm, openshift, Kubernetes.

Folks will get ample opportunities to problem solving in scaled, distributed performance oriented applications with these techonlogies; KAfka, ELastic, Mongo, open telemetry, Gpb, Gnmi, grpc, ML models, Nvidia tech stack in GPU servers, golang, python software environments - you name it we have that technology adopted. We focus on problem solving for our customers who have deployed our data centers, key drivers of growth for Cisco Data centers.

Recent results tell us that our DC solutions for AI infrastructure support powered by Nvidia GPUs is growing at double digit growth numbers yoy.

• AI infrastructure demand: The rise of generative AI is creating a massive demand for high-bandwidth networking, which Cisco is positioned to supply through its AI-ready infrastructure solutions.
• Cloud repatriation: Many organizations are moving certain applications back to private data centers after cloud migrations, a trend known as "cloud repatriation".
• On-premises AI initiatives: The need to support new on-premises AI workloads is a top driver for organizations to expand their physical data center footprints.

Data center modernization: Cisco is helping customers modernize their data centers with new technologies like the Nexus 9000 series switches and UCS X-Series servers, which offer greater performance.

Your Impact

• You will be responsible for crafting, building our next generation applications to configure, manage, monitor, troubleshooting data centres on Cisco Nexus Dashboard platform.
• Define the standards, processes, best-practice guidelines and provide a common set of components for developing and deploying microservices on our Insights On-Prem environments.
• Develop scalable microservices for the data centre automation workflows
• Develop analytics solutions to ingest, post-process and visualize large amounts of telemetry data streamed from data centre switches
• Develop creative solutions for troubleshooting data centres
• Develop ML/statistical model-based solutions to predict network related data patterns
• Develop Gen AI based solutions to help create highly effective troubleshooting applications
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams, technical marketing teams, product teams and internal partners on deployment topics in general, and the merits of our system in particular.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of related work experience is required in microservices software architecture, crafting, building, and debugging large scale distributed systems.
• Programming languages: Go, C++, Python
• Proven expertise in data structures, algorithms, Kafka, Elastic search, mongo db, gen AI, AI/ML technologies
• software design with strong analytical and debugging skills
• Familiar with agile practices, and believes in test driven development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Programming languages: Go, C++, Python, React(optional)
• Proven expertise in Microservices, distributed architecture, system design for large scale services built for scale and performance
• Proven experience in data structures, algorithms, Problem solving
• Proven experience in message queueing technologies like Kafka, rabbit Mq ( atleast one)
• Proven experience in No-sql distributed DB’s like Elastic search, mongo, (atleast one)
• Proven expertise in software design with strong analytical and debugging skills
• Familiar with agile practices, and believes in test driven development
• Develop ML/statistical model-based solutions to predict network related data patterns
• Familiarity with Gen AI applications, Agentic AI is a plus
