ポジション概要

本ポジションでは、日本国内の主要通信事業者 (Service Provider) におけるシスコのデータセンターネットワーキング（DCN）製品・ソリューションを軸としたお客様の課題解決およびビジネス拡大に貢献するプリセールス活動を行います。活動対象はネットワークに加え、コンピュート製品や AIインフラストラクチャまでお客様のニーズに応じた提案活動を行います。
営業部門と協力しながら、サービス部門、本社開発部門との連携も行うことにより市場およびお客様ニーズに即した提案を行い、製品および技術面からお客様ビジネスに貢献します。

主な業務内容

シスコデータセンター製品のソリューションズエンジニアとして、以下の業務を遂行します。

• お客様の課題や技術要件の整理

• 最適なシスコソリューションの検討と提案活動

• 提案資料の作成およびプレゼンテーションの実施

• 実機デモや PoC の実施と報告

• 技術的な問い合わせ対応

• 商談に関して国内他部門や海外開発部門等との連携や機能要求

• 競合他社との差別化提案

必要となる経験とスキル （Required Qualifications）

シスコデータセンター製品のソリューションズエンジニアの活動を進める上で、以下の経験とスキルが必要です。

• ネットワーク関連機器(特にルータ、スイッチ)の6年以上の技術プリセールスの業務経験

• Data Center Network (Ethernet/IP/VXLAN/EVPN/ACI/RoCE,etc)に関する知識と経験

• Data Center Network 運用管理ツールに関する知識と経験

• 実機デモ、PoC 検証作業、トレーニング提供の知識と経験

• 技術的な問題解決の知識と経験

• 日本語での高いコミュニケーション能力、協調性

• チームやプロジェクトを率いるリーダーシップ能力

• お客様のためにプロアクティブな活動ができる方

• 新しい事へのチャレンジ精神

望ましい経験とスキル(Preferred Qualifications）

シスコデータセンター製品のソリューションズエンジニアの活動を進める上で、以下の経験とスキルがあるとより望ましいです。

• サービスプロバイダーのお客様担当としてのプリセールスの経験

• AI Data Center Infrastructure (Infiniband, RoCE, GPU, LLM, etc.)に関する知識と経験

• 仮想化・コンテナ基盤(Docker/K8s, etc.) に関する知識と経験

• ストレージ/HCI (Net App, Pure, VAST, Nutanix) に関する知識と経験

• Network ProgrammabilityとAutomation (Python, Ansible,etc) に関する知識と経験

• Ciscoソリューションと製品に関して実践的な知識と経験

• マルチベンダー環境の知識と経験

• 英語によるビジネスレベルのコミュニケーション能力

• シスコ技術者認定 (エキスパートレベル(CCIE) または同等の高度な認定資格

Role & Responsibilities

Customer-focused technical sales professional who provides technical information, design/implementation guidance for networking technology to the customer.

SE takes an architectural perspective to demonstrate how Cisco products and solutions can solve the customer’s business problems and sustains relationships with the customer aligned to their understanding of the customer's business goals.

• Refine and research customer challenges in technical context and technical requirements of the opportunity

• Create solution options and articulate the benefits of a Cisco solution

• Prepare proposal materials and make customer presentation

• Conduct demonstration or PoC, leveraging resources such as demo labs, including presentation and documentation of test results

• Customer technical Q and A handling

• Collaboration with other functions such as BU, CX or others

• Research of potential competitive offerings for the proposed solution

Minimum Qualifications

• More than 7 years of pre-sales experience as a solutions engineer for network products and solutions

• Expertise of Data Center Network (VXLAN/EVPN/RoCE,etc)

• Knowledge and Experience of POC, solution demonstration and Network verification

• Fluency in Japanese reading, writing and communication

• Leadership and proactive attitude to lead a team and a project

• Go-for-it spirit and attitude for new challenges

Desired Skills

• Pre-sales experience for Service Provider Customer

• Knowledge of AI data center infrastructure

• Knowledge of virtualization and container infrastructure (Docker/K8s,etc)

• Knowledge of Network Programmability and Automation (Python, Ansible etc.)

• Practical understanding of Cisco solutions and products

• Business Level English communication

• Expertise of Generic Routing and Switching (CCIE level)
