We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Workshop Technician to work with a team of 3 workshop technicians. The role will include the servicing and refurbishment of fire extinguishers along with other workshop duties.

About the Role

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work alongside a team of 3 workshop technicians.

  • Daily production activities, including testing and refurbishment of extinguisher cylinders.

  • Working up to 30 hours a week. Monday-Friday however hours are flexible between 7am and 4pm

  • Maintain production registers and all required paperwork accurately and on time.

  • Adhere to workplace health and safety standards.

About You

  • Previous experience in a workshop or production environment desirable but not essential

  • Familiarity with fire protection equipment servicing is highly desirable but not essential (training will be provided).

  • Good understanding of Australian Standards relevant to fire equipment servicing (training provided if required).

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team

  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

On-the-job training will be provided to ensure a clear understanding of compliance and workplace expectations.
