The always stunning Radisson Blu Aqua Chicago is looking for their next Marketing & Digital Strategy Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, development, generation and execution of marketing materials for Radisson Blu Aqua Chicago. The specialist, along with the Sales Leaders, will manage the hotels digital presence including but not limited to all forms of social media, email marketing, digital communications, online reputation management and public relations for both the hotel and onsite restaurant.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 Annual
Key Responsibilities Maintains hotel graphics, photos, logos, and other intellectual property
- Manage and maintain all hotel graphics, photos, logos, intellectual property
- Provide direction to managers on where to find these resources and how to use them appropriately, as well as handle client requests for these resources.
- Execute Radisson Blu’s graphic/advertising standards and brand positioning across all graphics and communications at the hotel no matter who is using them or where they are being used - to ensure that the hotel is being represented properly and consistently
- Work with Corporate Director of e Commerce to ensure the hotel is following all brand standards and meeting established KPI targets for channel strategies and tactics
Plans campaign strategies and tactics closely with the Sales Leaders
- Monitor and manage daily media optimization and recommendations
- Leverage data-driven insights to inform planning and optimization for future media and ongoing content strategies
- Partner with Social Media and other digital marketing vendors to test and analyze advertising and awareness campaigns and performance metrics, using internal social analytics and measurements tools to optimize performance and meet business objectives.
- Coordinate with the Central Director of e Commerce to assess priority projects that impact digital booking performance
Maintains Marketing Material
- Update and maintain inventory of sales kits, brochures, facility guides, hotel color level maps, fold out check-in maps, and other printed materials – ensure any needed edits/updates are made prior to reorder
- Act as gatekeeper to marketing material and update Director of Sales and Marketing on where materials are being used and ensure the materials are being used appropriately.
- Create and maintain project schedule for hotel marketing initiatives to coincide with annual budget and quarterly performance goals
Marketing – General Hotel
- Coordinate the design and production of graphics and collateral from beginning to end – provide direction, edits or write out concept, review rounds of proofs, and coordinate printing and installation
- Generate all “one-off” marketing pieces; customized PDF/flyers
- In-house Hotel Channel
- Manage and maintain the promo channel; consistently update
- Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing and Central Director of e Commerce on marketing projects
- Assist with the budgeting for Marketing
- Assist entire business team and all hotel outlets with creative projects, ideas, presentations, and other Marketing-related needs
Promotional Opportunities – Hotel
- Review incoming advertising, promotional, and sponsorship opportunities – discuss with Director of Sales and Marketing
- Proactively search out promotional opportunities with local attractions; maintain relationships with industry partners (Arts Councils, City Governments, Tourist Attractions etc.)
- Proactively search and coordinate partnerships with other businesses/attractions in the city when arise; Seek partnerships to maximize hotel awareness and reach.
Promotional Opportunities – Groups
- Manage Custom Keycards – inquiries, negotiations, quote & ordering, artwork proofing, securing/processing payment, label individual sleeves when arrive and coordinate front desk distribution
- Review any client proposed promotional opportunities outside of what the hotel offers and determine feasibility and pricing
Print/Electronic Advertising
- Assist in development of all print and digital advertising/artwork production
Photography
- Coordinate and execute hotel photo shoots and filming – photographer selection, pre-planning, setting rooms, execution, follow-up proofing, etc.
- With DOSM - Evaluate and approve or deny any outside filming or photography in hotel, get appropriate agreements signed if approved, communicate media on property and approved filming to pertinent individuals, prepare for and monitor filming/photography if necessary – outside requests, group requests, affiliate group requests, guest requests, construction/architect for renovations requests; Immediately address any unauthorized filming taking place in hotel
Social Media Channels
- Create and maintain a calendar of events outlining future social media opportunities on a day-by-day basis
- Manage all Radisson Blu Aqua accounts and seek out ideas/opportunities to utilize LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and others
- Create and implement QR Codes throughout the hotel for guest information
- Maintain and update standard signature lines to include social media icons and links
- Post/Send hotel’s events to local blogs along with Wagstaff
- Proactively research social media opportunities within hotel utilizing HR, Catering, F&B, Sales, and other departments
Local calendars of events (sports, school, city events)
- Increase visibility and content on the Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages
- Explore and research new social networks and existing channel updates and best practices
- Develop a “personality” for hotel’s Facebook page – increase awareness and engagement
- Work with groups to help promote their events (when appropriate)
- Attend industry and local events where needed that are related to marketing and digital strategy and promoting the Radisson Blu.
- Be the constant contact person for any guests inquiries about social networks (special requests)
- Constantly monitor and report what our competition is doing
- Build relationships with Key Partners and execute site visits
Create 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson Blu experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
Requirements/Skills
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Two – three years prior administration experience with Marketing, e Commerce or Social Media – hospitality industry experience not required, but is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with graphic formats and programs
- Excellent computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong presentation and communication skills to interact with other departments and guests
- Experience in collecting and reporting on performance metrics to key stakeholders
Physical Demands
- Required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of times
- Lift, carry, or otherwise move and use of force or exertion up to 75 lbs.
- Use of manual dexterity of common office equipment; such as but not limited to, computers, printers, phones ect.
