This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Experienced with fraud prevention and investigation? Data-driven, perceptive, and analytical? Want to make a measurable positive change by protecting potential victims of fraud? If so, you could find a home on the Fraud Protection Team at Spectrum.

At Spectrum, we keep millions of customers connected across our 41-state footprint. Our Fraud Protection Team conducts in-depth investigations to find and eliminate different types of fraud. By keeping customer information safe, our Fraud Protection Team helps deliver the exceptional services and experiences Spectrum is known for.

BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

A Business Systems Analyst on the Fraud Protection Team, you will play a critical role in analyzing, designing, and implementing systems to prevent, detect and manage fraud within the organization. Using your knowledge of business systems and industry requirements, you will design and develop new systems or new ways to use existing systems to accomplish business objectives.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements; translate into clear metrics, definitions, and wireframes.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain dashboards in Micro Strategy (or Tableau/Power BI/Looker), including filters, drill paths, and role-based access.
  • Build reports linking operational metrics to fraud outcomes (losses, false positives, dispute cycle times) to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyzing complex business partners’ operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes, functions, and systems
  • Providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
  • Prepare clear summaries for stakeholders (weekly updates, incident recaps).
  • Maintain data quality: validate report inputs, reconcile discrepancies across systems, and escalate data issues to improve accuracy and reliability of fraud reporting.

On a given day you’ll be conducting feasibility studies to assess cost/benefit, efficiency, and technical viability of solutions to business problems. If you’re an organized, creative problem-solver, this could be the role for you.
